The AVJennings brand was founded in Melbourne Victoria, in 1932 by Sir Albert Victor Jennings.
AVJennings gained iconic status in Australia throughout the post-war period for providing quality affordable housing that was previously out of the reach of most Australians.
Following a change in Company ownership in 1995, AVJennings continued to provide quality housing and residential estates in New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland South Australia, and ACT.
Effective August 1, 2010 AVJennings Properties Limited entered into an agreement with Sekisui House Australia Holdings Pty Limited for Sekisui House to acquire the Company’s Contract Building operations. The arrangement will also see the two companies form an alliance around land and the use of the AVJennings brand, ownership of which will remain with AVJennings Limited.
