26 Week Guaranteed Build Time - Terms and Conditions
1. Offer commences on 1 September 2008 and is subject to all applications made for New Home Tenders prior to 1 July 2009.
2. We guarantee a build time of 26 weeks, subject to these conditions and the terms of the building contract. If we do not meet that guaranteed build time, we will make payments to the owner in accordance with these terms.
3. A “week” is 7 calendar days and so 26 weeks is 182 days however if there are public holidays in the period of 26 weeks, the number of public holidays are added to 182 days. See also condition 10 below.
4. The build time starts from day on which the pouring of the foundations is completed.
5. The build time ends on the day of handover.
6. The day of handover is the day on which the handover process is completed. If the owner does not make the final payment in full on that day, the customer will lose all entitlement to any payment under this offer.
7. The Handover date is the date nominated by AVJennings as the Handover date.
8. Subject to the above, $250 will be paid to the customer for each complete week that is over the guaranteed build time.
9. Any amounts paid under 8 above will be paid into the customer’s nominated bank/credit union account after handover.
10. We are entitled to a three week extension to the guaranteed build time should construction be underway over the Christmas period (22 December 2008 to 9 January 2009 inclusive).
11. The 26 week guaranteed build time is valid only for single storey dwellings.
12. We are entitled to a 6 week extension to the guaranteed build time for double storey dwellings, totalling 32 weeks guaranteed build time.
13. The 26 week guaranteed build time is valid for homes built within AVJennings’ metropolitan build areas, as determined by AVJennings.
14. Offer does not apply to AVJennings pre-planned products, stock homes, Government Housing or Home Improvements, and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
