Easily accessible by private or public transport, Bankstown is one of very few metropolitan cities with access by air (Bankstown Airport), river (Georges River) and road (Hume Highway and the M5 Motorway).
Shopping
Bankstown Square Shopping Centre is located within walking distance to the project and offers a large range of shopping facilities including David Jones, K-mart, Target, Big W and Woolworths and over 290 specialty shops.
Schools
There are a number of quality public and private schools located in Bankstown including Bankstown Primary, Bankstown Girls High, Punchbowl Boys High and Bankstown Senior College. TAFE NSW Southern Sydney Institute Padstow College is close by and the University of Western Sydney Bankstown Campus is located in Milperra, a suburb within the Bankstown City Council area and is serviced by public transport.
Recreation
Bankstown has around 17 parks covering nearly 5% of the total area. Major features of the city include the Georges River National Park, Georges River, Deepwater Regional Park, Potts Hill Reservoirs and Mirambeena Regional Park. Sefton Golf Course is a par 3 golf course set in a leafy residential area close by. A park is also located in the estate called Sidings Park and provides a playground and parkland retreat.
