'Tis the season to be jolly! With the year being what it has we are all looking to join in on the festivities this year! Here are a few local events and activities to get you into the festive spirit.

The City of Playford - Festive Playford program

Although Christmas events may look a little different this year the City of Playford is still turning out some great events and activities, such as the trail of mini Christmas trees planted across various community locations to spread some joy across the land.

The trees are located at the following sites, and were built by the Playford Men's Shed. They are encouraging you and your family while visiting to decorate the trees with a bauble sharing a Christmas message.

Light Up Eyre 2020

AVJennings is running the annual Christmas lights and decoration competition again this year for residents of Eyre. They are giving away a free box of lights to the first 10 homes that register and the winner will receive an amazing Christmas Hamper full of great holiday treats! The competition is running now with entries closing on Sunday 20 December.

The best thing about this competition is that this is something the whole community can enjoy, hop in the car or take a stroll around the neighbourhood to enjoy the Christmas lights and decorations your neighbours have decorated their homes with and see if you can spot the winner!
