From beach to bush.

Everything you need is within easy reach at Seacrest. You’ll find some great local childcare and primary school options in Sandy Beach including Bangalee Preschool and Sandy Beach Public School. Head five minutes up the road and you’ll find the friendly seaside town of Woolgoolga, affectionately known as Woopi.

With local shops and great restaurants, as well as a monthly beach market, you may not need to go further from home to get everything you need. Try the all-day breakfast at Bluebottles Brasserie – you won’t regret it.

Just 20 minutes drive south and you’ll be in Coffs Harbour CBD. From major shops at Park Beach Plaza and Palms Centre to relaxed dining on Coffs Creek or around the jetty, Coffs has all the city facilities you need – with a lot less bustle. Pick up today’s catch fresh off the boat from the Fisherman’s Co-Op, or check out the growers markets in City Square.

If you’re feeling adventurous, you can go kayaking or ocean rafting or even scuba diving at Solitary Island Marine Park. The surrounding beaches, including the headland at Woopi, are ideal for spotting the annual whale migrations. Or, with more than 20 national parks and nature reserves nearby, you can spend every weekend discovering a new bushwalk.

North Coast Institute of TAFE and Southern Cross University campuses, and Coffs Harbour Base Hospital, are also just over 20 minutes south of Sandy Beach. And Coffs Harbour Airport offers direct connections to Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne – making the big smoke less than two hours by air. (But we doubt you’ll want to leave).

However you choose to enjoy it, the sparkling blue ocean, untouched sandy beaches and surrounding bushland will become the backdrop to your new lifetime of memories.
