  1. MEET THE EASTER BUNNY

    Take the whole family down to meet Easter Bunny this Saturday between 10am and 12pm. Hosted by the Jimboomba Junction Shopping Centre, Easter Bunny will be roaming the shopping centre and kids will enjoy free Easter eggs. It’s free and you may be able to snap a photo or two with the Easter Bunny!

  2. VISIT RIVERTON FOR FREE EASTER EGGS

    AVJennings loves Easter and chocolate, but more importantly we love embracing a lifestyle for all. We are offering free Easter eggs to all who visit us this Saturday or Monday from 10am – 5pm! It’s a great opportunity to bring the kids down, let them play on the ipads and chalk wall or kick the ball in our fenced grass area.  Paul and Debbie would love to make you a coffee or tea while you learn little more about our new Riverton development located along the Logan River and Hills Golf Course, just 3 minutes to Jimboomba.

  3. MINI GOLF AT HILLS GOLF CLUB

    With holes like the Pinball and Horse Shoe its bound to create a great day out for all ages. If one round isn't enough, the second round is half price! Challenge yourself on our challenging 18 Hole Mini Golf Course at the Hills Golf Club, with reasonable pricing and open from 6:30am – 6pm daily, this is a great Easter weekend activity for everyone. The Hills Golf Club also welcomes all to take full advantage of our Foxtel area and enjoy a cool beverage while you catch up on all the latest sports.

  4.  JIMBOOMBA SKATEBOARDING WORKSHOP

    No matter what your skateboard skill set is, the Jimboomba Skateboarding Workshop will cater for beginners right through to those who are looking to develop their skills. Its hosted this Saturday from 10am to 12pm at the Jimboomba Skate Park where anyone can learn the fundamental motor skills vital for skateboarding and sport participation. The park includes a really nice halfpipe mini 3-4 ft high 10-15ft wide that you can do almost anything on with banks on one end of both sides facing the rest of the park, a mellow hip bank at the other end and a couple of grind block, rail assorted obstacles in the middle. It’s a free activity anyone can enjoy!

  5. GRAB A COFFEE AT CAFÉ ON CUSACK

    This is an AVJennings staff favourite. Café on Cusack is a unique cafe in Jimboomba's colonial shopping centre, with a style and atmosphere you simply cannot beat. As a Victorian who has recently relocated to Queensland I am particular about my coffee, but I can assure you the Café on Cusack offers not just great mochas and lattes, but the food is simply divine. Bring the pouch along, enjoy a divine breakfast and take a stroll around the Jimboomba town centre.. and don’t forget to share your food snaps with us on Facebook.

  6.  FREE F45 JIMBOOMBA BOOT CAMP

    Join the team at F45 Jimboomba this Easter Monday at 6am for a post-chocolate fix work out. It’s free for everyone, no matter how fit or unfit you are. Bring your friends, partner, family member or come on your own, everyone is welcome and you don’t need to be a member or know a member. What a perfect way to try something new and maybe meet some people on a long weekend!

    The free boot camp will be hosted at the Jimboomba Park, corner of South Street and Mt Lindsay Hwy.

  7. ENJOY A GOOD PUB MEAL

    It’s the locals place to be. The Jimboomba Country Tavern situated on Mount Lindsay Highway in the heart of Jimboomba offers a variety of dining and entertainment options this long weekend for everyone to enjoy. With a great menu hosting all your fav pub meals, a kids place area and regular specials, the Jimboomba Country Tavern truly offers a relaxed friendly atmosphere everyone can enjoy. The tavern also is a proud sponsor of various local sporting clubs and is the unofficial ‘clubhouse’ for a number of local sporting teams - a place to re-convene after matches, sell raffle tickets, celebrate victories and commiserate losses.

  8. CAMPING
    The Logan River sweeps around the edge of Jimboomba, making it the ideal location to drop the kayak in and take a leisurely fish with the family. If you’re looking to go camping and fishing this long weekend, head over to findacamp.com.au for some great local camping spots. Meebun campground is a free site located on Lake Wyaralong, accessible by 2WD vehicles and even has kayaking and fishing spots nearby. It’s the perfect long weekend escape for anyone.
