The Renee 6 Sale & Celebration!

We are pleased to announce that the Renee 6 home at Riverton, Jimboomba was officially sold on Saturday 26 February 2022, by private ballot draw!

Unfortunately, due to extreme weather and flooding on the day, we were unable to proceed with the planned public Sales Event at Riverton, however celebration for the new homeowners, supporters and community was held on last Saturday on 9 April 2022.

Congratulations to Joe and Lily, who are the new homeowners of the Renee 6 home. The Renee 6 sold for $587,900, with proceeds of the sale going to the Steve Waugh Foundation. We would like to again thank the generous suppliers, contractors and supporters who donated their time, materials, and expertise to build this home. We could not have done this without you.

The stylish Renee 6 home boasts 3 spacious bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 living areas plus a multi-purpose room and double lock-up garage, situated on at 420m2 block. The home also combines innovative design features such as keyless entry, parcel letterbox, garage door opening app and more, plus several accessible inclusions to suit families of all abilities, making this home really special.

Not only did Joe and Lily secure this one-of-a-kind home, they are now also the lucky new owners of a unique piece of Indigenous artwork, donated by the Jimboomba State School. Year 1 students, together with acclaimed Indigenous Artist, Cheryl Moggs, created this meaningful piece of art especially for the owners to display in their new home.

To celebrate the Renee 6 sale, Steve Waugh joined the AVJennings team at Riverton, Jimboomba on Saturday, 9 April to meet and congratulate the new owners, and thank the Supporters for their generous contribution in making this project a reality.

Special guest Juliana, a Steve Waugh Foundation grant recipient, was also invited to speak about her experience, the foundation’s involvement in her life and what the support has meant to her and her family. Juliana is a truly inspirational young woman!
