What’s on in Whittlesea in November
There is always something happening at the City of Whittlesea. This tight-knit community offers plenty of fun activities all year round. See below our top picks of the events happening this month:
POP-UP BUSH PLAYGROUP
When: Thursday 15th November
Time: 10:00am – 12:00pm
Location: Woodland Waters, Waterview Drive, Mernda.
This is a great opportunity for children and parents to come along and enjoy a fully facilitated event. Children will have the opportunity to explore, create, imagine and discover nature. Better yet, they can enjoy new interactions with other children at the event and create new friendships.
EPPING CFA OPEN DAY
When: Sunday 18th November
Time: 10am – 2pm
Location: Epping CFA, 2 O'Hearns Rd, Epping.
The Epping CFA is opening it's doors to the Whittlesea community. Everyone loves seeing a firetruck and a fireman in uniform. Get up close and meet your local fire fighters! There will also be heaps of other activities including jumping castle, petting farm, kids fire truck, sausage sizzle, raffle, rescue demonstrations and home fire safety demonstrations.
WALK, CYCLE, RUN!
When: Sunday 25th November
Time: 8:30am – 12:00pm
Cost: Gold coin donation
Location: Casa D’Abruzzo Club, 55 O'Herns Road, Epping.
Come and help promote a healthy lifestyle by either walking, running or cycling with a group of likeminded individuals. It’s a great opportunity to meet more residents within your community and build relationships. If you need more of an incentive, did we mention there’s a free breakfast upon completion of the morning’s activity!
WHITTLESEA HISTORICAL CRIME TOUR
When: Monday 26th November
Time: 10:30am – 1:30pm
Location: Mill Park Library, 394 Plenty Rd, Millpark.
On this bus tour, you get to visit notorious sites of the region and discover nefarious stories of mayhem in days long-gone. This tour is in demand so make sure you have booked your spot and don’t miss out on what is guaranteed to be a crime buffs delight!
