Earlier this year, Waterline Place hosted The Art of Design, a fantastic event that spanned the entire day, with a majority of most guests attending all three information sessions.

The first session, Find your terrace oasis with Fleming’s Nurseries, was presented by Wes Flemings.  The courtyard looked welcoming with cold drinks, colourful chairs and AVJ caps and sunscreen awaiting guests.  With beautiful weather, it was a lovely space for guests to learn about creating small gardens on a balcony. Wes Fleming very generoulsy offered plants to the guests at the end of the session.

The second session was presented by Elenberg Fraser architect Jack Ryan. As Jack ‘lives and breathes Gem’ he comprehensively and seamlessly presented detailed information on the structure and form of the building. Thrown some challenging questions, Jack answered confidently, and guests were given a full insight into the design intent of Gem, its architectural merits and strong safety aspects

The final session, presented by Elenberg Fraser’s Interior Designer Richard Pattison was held in the upstairs display suite. This was the perfect location for this presentation as Richard could reference material finishes and explain why each material had been chosen. It was an engaging session where almost all groups had questions to ask, from electrical lighting plans to using spaces efficiently.

Overall it was fantastic day that was well received by our guests - we look forward to putting on the next event!
