Breaking ground at Cadence Ripley.
Cadence hits the right balance.
Land construction on one of the only developments in the Ripley region to offer a mix of homesites and townhouses has started.
AVJennings' newest community in Queensland is being developed on a 19ha site, 3km west of Ripley Town Centre, and will feature 272 land lots and become home to about 700 people.
AVJennings Senior Development Manager, Mark Routledge, and Ipswich City Council General Manager, Ben Pole turned the first sod at the project in July 2019 marking the start of construction on the first stage of development.
Mr Routledge said Cadence would provide opportunities for buyers looking for affordable, low-maintenance living close to local schools, shops, and transport, with premium villa lots in the first stage priced from $169,900.“Ripley is a fast-growing region which is attracting many first home buyers and young families wanting to live in a brand new area which is less than 10km from Ipswich’s CBD and 15km from Springfield,” he said.“Cadence is a breath of fresh air for Ripley, delivering a mix of homesites suitable for traditional freestanding family homes, terrace homes, dual occupancy homes, duplexes and townhomes. We expect purchasers will be able to step into a brand new property from as little as $350,000.” The first stage of Cadence will deliver a neighbourhood park and a number of design features to encourage residents to lead an active lifestyle, including proposed fitness stations, an all-inclusive playground, a shelter set among mature trees, as well as a kick about space.
Ipswich City Council General Manager of Community, Cultural and Economic Development, Ben Pole said Ipswich was one of the fastest growing regions in Australia. “More people than ever are choosing to live and work here, the city is energised and evolving in a really exciting way,’’ he said.
AVJennings ambassador and netball star, Laura Geitz attended the construction launch of Cadence, saying it was important for developers to create communities that encourage people to remain active. “Offering easy access to parks, playgrounds, and fitness equipment is the best way to encourage children to develop a lifelong passion for sports and exercise – it all starts with the home environment,” she said.
