2025 Community Grant recipients.
Riverton by AVJennings is proud to announce the recipients of the 2025 Community Grants Program.
Now in its fourth year, the Riverton Community Grants initiative continues to support the incredible work being done by local organisations, schools, and community groups in and around Jimboomba. This year, $12,000 in funding has been awarded across five inspiring projects that aim to enrich, support and strengthen our local community.
The 2025 recipients are:
Veresdale Scrub State School P&C
Founded in 1899, Veresdale Scrub State School has been part of the local community for over 125 years, educating and empowering generations of children. Small but mighty, this year’s cohort includes just 76 students from Prep to Year 6.
The P&C plays a vital role in connecting the school with the wider community, raising funds and providing additional resources to benefit students.
Over the years, their volunteer-driven efforts have supported projects such as air-conditioning classrooms, purchasing laptops, funding excursions, and enhancing school facilities.
Through the 2025 Community Grants Program, AVJennings is proud to support the purchase of two sewing machines for the school’s home economics program, giving students valuable hands-on skills in textiles and design.
Logan Village Women’s Shed
Established in 2020, the Logan Village Women’s Shed is a timber workshop that provides women of all ages with a supportive space to learn new skills, gain confidence, and build lasting friendships. Their programs encourage creativity, independence, and connection in a welcoming environment.
The grant will fund the construction of a carport alongside their shed, creating a sheltered outdoor area where members can safely use power tools and work on larger projects in all weather conditions.

Logan Wildlife Association
Founded in 2023, Logan Wildlife Association Inc. is a registered not-for-profit organisation dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing injured, sick, and orphaned native wildlife. Their passionate team also works to promote conservation and educate the community on protecting local ecosystems.
With the Logan region experiencing rapid growth, the association is working towards establishing a purpose-built wildlife hospital to meet the increasing demand for specialised care.
The grant from AVJennings will enable the purchase of a veterinary-grade anaesthesia machine, an essential piece of equipment that will support the safe and effective treatment of animals in their care.
Australian Breastfeeding Association – Logan South Scenic Group
The Australian Breastfeeding Association is a volunteer-run community group that provides up-to-date breastfeeding, parenting, and mothering support to local families. Their work helps new and expectant mothers build confidence and access reliable information during the early stages of parenthood.
Grant funding will provide ten 12-month ABA Virtual Village memberships and twelve copies of Breastfeeding – A Practical Guide for participants in local breastfeeding education classes. Two books will also be added to the group’s library for continued community use.
Jimboomba Community Kindergarten Association
A much-loved local kindergarten established in 1981, the Jimboomba Community Kindergarten is managed by a dedicated Parent Committee and currently provides early education to 30 children aged 3.5 to 5 years old.
The grant will fund upgrades to the gardens surrounding the centre’s cubby house, creating a more natural and inquisitive outdoor play space for children to explore and enjoy.
AVJennings congratulates all the 2025 recipients and thanks them for their ongoing contributions to the local community. We’re proud to support their efforts in creating a stronger, more connected future for everyone who calls Riverton and the surrounding area home.
