Waterline Place Congratulates Ryan Capron

Rosny Apartments Construction Manager Wins Top Award.

The AVJennings Rosny apartment building at Waterline Place has been popular with buyers looking for a relatively affordable opportunity to live in the beautiful bayside village of Williamstown, with its quiet location and spectacular views of the Melbourne CBD across Port Phillip Bay.

There are 75 apartments in the Rosny building which was designed by SJB architects, project managed by Neoscape and constructed by L.U. Simon Builders.
Earlier this month, Ryan Capron, who is an Assistant Project Manager with LU Simon, was named Residential Building Professional of the Year for Victoria by the Australian Institute of Building.

“It’s an honour to win an award like this. It was good to be involved with a project like Rosny that went so well and such a good-looking building,” Mr Capron said.

Mr Capron said he was proud of the fact that despite some challenges the project presented, it was delivered on time.

“Working with Neoscape and AVJennings, we were able to ensure that there was a successful outcome and that all the settlements of the pre-sold apartments were reached in the required timeframe,” Mr Capron said.

AVJennings State General Manager, Angus Johnson, congratulated Mr Capron on his award which was due recognition for his leadership on the project.
“Although we have been a trusted name in residential property development in Australia for 86 years, Rosny is the first apartment project at Waterline Place for AVJennings. It was important that the

Rosny building not only lived up to our expectations but more importantly those of the many customers who trusted us to deliver by purchasing off the plan. Our thanks go to Ryan for his part in ensuring that happened and we offer our warmest congratulations for winning this award,” Mr Johnson said.

Mr Capron completed a double degree in Civil Engineering and Business Management at RMIT University in Melbourne before joining L.U. Simon four years ago which he said he has enjoyed every minute of.

His organisational skills come in handy when lining up as centre-half back for his local football team and he is a keen golfer.Mr Capron is now in the running to win the national award which will be announced in Canberra in September.
